FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON >:O i'm so excited even if it isn't sticking

it started snowing when we were driving back from visiting a college in maryland, and we were driving down an empty road lined by trees in really dense fog and snow. i felt like i was in silent hill. seriously, i even turned on the radio and heard static and nearly shat myself until i realized we were just out of range of the station. probably didn't help that i immediately went to turn on akira yamaoka. anyway speaking of silent hill, who's getting shattered memories when it comes out? i wish it would be released on the ps2 at the same time it's released on the wii. actually, i don't even know if i want to get it immediately because i don't have a wii, and so much of the gameplay is focused around that. also how fucking cheesy does the cover look. seriously it's a successful enough franchise that they can get a decent graphic designer/illustrator to do the cover. the way it is now it looks like the cover for a b-rated horror flick from the 90s.

anyway uh i went and visited a college but i wasn't too excited about it. parents and i are still both flipping a shit over how fucking expensive it is to go to college outside of va. we ended up getting in a fight about college - actually whenever we discuss it at length we tend to argue, which is shit, but whatever. im probably just going to end up going to a virginia college because fuck if we have 40 grand to blow on school.

ps ive started watching season 3 of skins. its pretty great so far - its ridiculous, but they obviously werent trying to play it straight, so i can forgive them. at least it isnt degrassi right. does anyone know if seasons 1 and 2 are good? i pretty much started watching because of candlejack's cook, but ive grown so attached to naomi/emily and pandora/thomas. fuck effy though shes a ho *flips her*

snarerush: So the Resident Advisors have a budget to put on "programming," which are events we put on in the dorm. What kinds of things would y'all be interested in? For example, last year we had movie nights, Rootbeer Pong, Midnight Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol discussions, Board game nights, etc.

I am getting less and less excited for college. Preferably I would like to move to Soviet Russia and write Communist propaganda while sipping heavily from my bottle of vodka. If that doesn't work out I'm going to live in my parents' basement, engaging in such activities as venturing outside only to check out the new releases at Anime Pavilion and writing gay erotica until I turn 46 and kill myself by wrapping a makeshift bedsheet noose around my neck and kicking out my own office chair from underneath me. My parents are very excited about the prospects for my future, they will endorse me at the end of my high school career by slapping me on the back and telling me: "Well, at least you had potential when you were a young child. Too bad about that whole growing up to be a filthy pervert deal."
