Hrrnnngh I'm sick again tonight. Why am I always sick? Whatever. I have some animanga recommendations for you guys!
Yukikaze: one of the most consistently soul-crushing anime I've seen. There's a plot about some future war and the main characters live and work in this military airbase, but the only thing I can really focus on is how sad it is. I mean, it doesn't start out hopeful and then get sad, or start out sad and then get hopeful - it's just completely melancholy through and through. I love it.Plus there's gay subtext. Makes anything better. [OVA 1] [OVA 2] [OVA 3] [OVA 4] [OVA 5]
Livingstone: this is a pretty new manga, only having 3 chapters translated into English so far, but it looks really promising. It's about a pair of partners whose jobs are to retrieve Livingstones - a stone that holds a person's soul - and save them from being shattered by an unexpected death. The partners are kind of a typical duo, but they're still really fun to watch interact: there's Sakarai, who's real stiff and nervous and uptight, and then Amano, who's immature and doesn't have a soul (no, literally doesn't have a soul). They make the perfect at-odds duo. Actually I made an RP account for Amano ha ha ha..I sorta wanna play him in a cracky game but fuck if I know which. [Chapters 1-3]
OTL and I still have that Minato app to finish. ffffffffffffffff
