"Hey, guys. I am doing our College App Boot Camp next week on Tuesday, August 4 from 12:00-4:00, Wednesday, August 5 from 4:00-8:00, and Thursday, August 6 from 12:00-4:00. You can come the whole time or you can just come part of the time, but unless you are out of town, I need to see you at least once! (If you are working during the day, come to the evening session.) There will be pizza and sodas, and I will give rides to the metro at the end of each session.

Here's what we will be doing: You'll take my mildly amusing quiz on "finding your own best place," start researching some schools, and actually start the "Common Application" which you can use for many different colleges. This will make the fall much less stressful! Bring your laptop and an open mind. This whole college search/college app thing can actually be fun.
