it always feels like i draw a lot more than i do. whenever i go to post stuff i'm like 'man it feels like there are twenty drawings i have to post' and then it turns out to be...four. yeah this is same as always, if you have any concrit or suggestions go for it because i still don't have any fucking clue how to draw properly.

man i slept for about 20 hours and i had all of these really long detailed dreams so ( another lj cut for that )

but anyway i can't believe i had all those fucking dreams. i still feel disoriented even though i've been awake for a few hours now. the second segment was my favorite, it felt like being the protagonist of a really badass sci-fi movie. plus dreams where i'm a character always make me feel cool.

God I'm so excited, I finished a drawing that I'm really proud of. It's not ~amazing~ but I think it's one of the best things I've done so far, which is super exciting. I started out trying to draw porn but I'm not quite good enough for that, yet, so it just ended up being a pinup sort of thing, but, uh - it's of Thanatos, who's one of my OCs from empireverse. Anyway blah blah blah

i know that the arms and the hip area are too long and the hips are kinda weird but are there any other concrits? i'd love to hear 'em. plus i tried out a new style of coloring and i'm still kinda getting the hang of it, but i definitely like this style more than the one i usually use.

I may have tried to explain this to some of you guys before - when I listen to songs and read stories, I get a color or a mix of colors in my head that sort of sets a theme. A while ago I was talking to Mandy and she said that it is called synesthesia; some people get it with words while other people get it with numbers (see Patrick's number map), and it's always different for each person. It's sort of hard to explain it using words, so I decided to do a little drawing-thing for four songs that explain what comes up in my mind when I hear them.

- My goggles and spats from Clockwork Couture came the other day! The boots are being shipped separately, though, so they'll come a little later. :( If you're into steampunk, I'd check it out - www.clockworkcouture.com. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is nice and pretty reasonably priced. Me wearing the goggles, they are a lot bigger than I'd assumed! :D
- THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES WAS YESTERDAY. Now I just have to survive the beach trip and I'm home free. (For three months.) I'm not at all looking forward to the beach trip, though. It always rains and there's sand fucking everywhere and everyone gets mad at each other and inevitably a bunch of people get sent home halfway through ughhhh I just want to be out of high school, shit sucks.

- I just downloaded TabletDraw, since I'm fed up with drawing in Photoshop. It's a really good program; if you have a Mac and a tablet, I recommend it. :3
