We just went and saw the Half Blood Prince movie and it was SO GOOD and she's reading my entry over my shoulder, she's right though she did have to explain everything that was going on because it's been ages since I've read the books. I still haven't finished Deathly Hallows (I read the epilogue though) because I got so fucking tired of Harry's constant bitching and angsting, it was literally all that happened for like 40 chapters. BUT NOW I SORT OF FEEL LIKE GOING THROUGH AND READING ALL OF THE BOOKS bawwww I completely hated on Emily for getting back into Harry Potter so violently but now I understand why. IT'S SUCH A GOOD SERIES! I still wish I could have gone to Hogwarts, man, even with all the Voldemort shit goin' down it still seemed like so much better a school than anyplace in the real world. Augh but throughout the whole movie I kept going "MALFOY IS SO HOT!!" because he really is, and I don't think Tom Felton could be so attractive if he wasn't in the character of Malfoy. GOD HE'S SO GREAT he's completely my character type though, DARK N ANGSTY. Shit the sectumsempra scene was really hot, Malfoy all cryin' in the bathroom and then Harry going all SECTUMSEMPRA and then blood fucking POURING OUT OF MALFOY and then snape came in and healed him - speaking of snape and malfoy, how hot was it when snape slammed malfoy against the wall oh god it's so embarrassing how I'm seeing this movie with yaoi goggles :( but hnnnngh so good and now I want to RP as malfoy or write fanfiction or something WOW I'M GREAT

- Redid layout and profile! Oh, and Emily, I made a profile layout for pocketflask but there are still a few things I need to fix, when you get online next can you help me?

- Started marathoning Generation Kill, since my dad bought the box set for himself and is a pushover and lets me borrow his DVDs. The setup reminds me a lot of Band Of Brothers, but the characters in GK aren't as sympathetic, so I think I still prefer BoB. As far as realism, though, they're doing a damn good job. From what nonfiction I've read/watched and the firsthand accounts I've heard, the depictions of weapons, barracks and general behavior are as true as possible to life without going into the territory of being boring. I think the best part is that during the battle scenes, no music plays. It's pretty easy to make scenes like those shitty with with overdramatic scores. Oh, lol, but the second best part? The running gag about the rumor that J-Lo's dead. It's hilarious in and of itself, but it also goes to show how disconnected the dudes in Iraq are from current news in America. I guess I should wait til I finish it to write a more comprehensive review, but so far it's 9/10. If you have any interest in good war movies (and by 'good war movies' I do not mean Saving Private Ryan) and/or the Iraq war, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it.

- Man call us retards but Emily and I made OCs based on Blood Brothers songs. She's got Devastator, who's based on the song of the same name, and I've got Denver_Max (based on The Salesman, Denver Max and Cecilia (based on Cecilia and the Silhouette Saloon). NOW THE QUESTION IS FINDING A GAME TO PLAY THEM AT THAT ACCEPTS OCS AND ISN'T RUN OVER WITH AWFUL SELF-INSERTS.

- Speaking of OCs, I am kind of unwillingly creating a new 'verse. Remember how the other one I have is if the German side won WWII? This one is if the Roman Empire never fell out of power and emperors continued to rule. The parallel I seem to be drawing for it is steampunk but with ancient Rome rather than the Victorian era. IT'S COOL OKAY? ...no it's really not, I should stick to fanfiction.

- Redoing The Sleeper Hit's layout from scratch. UGH IT'S TAKING SO LONG. I could never be a layout maker simply because I am unwilling to exert myself enough to write viable CSS. HAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHA. Does this bode well for my future? THE ANSWER IS NO.

- Why do I ship Giovanni and the Twins so hard? Okay, they're pseudo-siblings and they have kind of a soft spot for each other. That's all it is IC and I know that there's no way it'd ever be canon but, maaan. From a purely pornographic standpoint, I ship it.
