God I'm so excited, I finished a drawing that I'm really proud of. It's not ~amazing~ but I think it's one of the best things I've done so far, which is super exciting. I started out trying to draw porn but I'm not quite good enough for that, yet, so it just ended up being a pinup sort of thing, but, uh - it's of Thanatos, who's one of my OCs from empireverse. Anyway blah blah blah

i know that the arms and the hip area are too long and the hips are kinda weird but are there any other concrits? i'd love to hear 'em. plus i tried out a new style of coloring and i'm still kinda getting the hang of it, but i definitely like this style more than the one i usually use.

these were the pictures i was talking about earlier. in retrospect i guess i realize that at this point it's pretty silly but i'd like to develop cooler costumes eventually, so i'm posting in hopes i can get some suggestions. ALRIGHT! the deal is i was gonna try and think up a ~steampunk persona, you know, some sort of personality or life story to base costumes around. HOWEVER! my clothes aren't very steampunk at all, so it ended up more, uh...well, shit, i don't know what it ended up as.

the backstory i thought up is there's a fourteen year old girl named katherine endicott in prohibition-era brooklyn, right? and she's fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight a moe-moe schoolgirl during the day but along with her three older brothers, she RUNS A SPEAKEASY BY NIGHT!!!! drama! action! adventure! yeah i fucked around with the clothes i had in my closet but i'm pretty sure 99% of this is historically inaccurate.

Failed my DMV test again. One more try before I have to go and take Driver's Ed all over again. Enough of that shit, though, I have awesome news: Rinna is coming to visit on the 15th! I've made it my mission to get her to gain some weight, so I'm going to force-feed her cheeseburgers and steaks. :3 This is apparently the summer of meeting people from the internet.

I made two new RP accounts - I know, I know, I need to stop RPing so many places, but the temptation was too much. One is Draco Malfoy (lol big surprise here, right?), which I have yet to actually play anywhere, and then Henry Stowecroft from the Decemberists' 16 Military Wives video. The latter is basically a caricature of traditional American ideals; the idea is he's representing America in a private academy's Model UN. I'm looking for games for both of them, so if you have any recommendations, throw 'em at me. I also reserved Teddie from P4 at discedo, which is a terrifying prospect...Speaking of Teddie, I need to intro him at a_trialbyfire now that the red rain event is over. Lmfao for the people on my flist who don't RP, this paragraph is probably just like SOME STUFF SOME SHIT SOME OTHER STUFF YEAH WHATEVER

Also, my dad got a documentary on the German's siege of Leningrad during WWII, so I twittered some of it before he had to go to bed - ( here's what I said under the cut, it's basically just for my own reference but maybe some of you will care to read it. )

Looking at figurines has made me so sad that I have barely any money. If I ever get extremely rich I am buying Emily a million outfits and then buying myself a million figurines.

In other news, it astounds me how much serious discussion can still be had over Death Note. Re: second arc, Emily and I take different sides on who's to blame for the semi-failure of L's successors. (SPOILER: Well, ultimately they succeeded, but not without the cost of the lives of 2/3 of the top three students.)
